The main objective of the study was to describe the dentists’ practice regarding guidelines of caries risk management, and thus determine:
- if dentists follow specific recommendations,
- the recommendations applied by dentists in 4 areas: caries risk assessment, preventive measures, counseling (diet and oral hygiene) and early management of caries lesions,
- their actual behavior, facing patients, in these same areas in their daily practice.
